Welcome to Thornbury 520 High St, Northcote VIC 3070
Tram: Take the 86 tram and get off at Darebin Road.Train: Croxton Station is the closest train station.Parking: Parking can be a little tricky in the area. The venue recommends parking at Northcote Plaza, using the entrance near the Police Station at 48 Dennis Street.
We have the space until 11:30pm, so you’re welcome to stay and celebrate with us for as long as feels comfortable for you. The memorial ceremony itself will begin at 7pm, but there’s no expectation to stay for the whole evening.
Yes! We’ll be arranging catering, including some savoury food and grazing tables, for everyone to enjoy.We will also have a toast to Tree at the end of the memorial part of the evening.
Yes! We’d love you to bring something sweet to share if you’d like. The venue has specifically asked that we don’t bring any savoury food, so please keep it sweet. You can let us know what you’re bringing when you RSVP.
We understand you may want to bring flowers, but we kindly ask that you refrain from doing so. This will make things a little easier for Tree’s family, who would otherwise need to take them home and manage them after the event.In lieu of flowers: If you’d like to honour Tree, you can make a donation to The Alfred Foundation or consider donating blood. Yes, children are welcome, at your discretion. We ask that you do what feels best for you and your family, taking into consideration the nature of the event and what you feel your children are comfortable with.If you are bringing children, please make sure you include them in your RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
Yes, please! Each person attending will need to RSVP, including children. This helps us and the venue know how many people to cater and set up for.
